Police: Woman arrested after slashing boyfriend with box cutter
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police are investigating a stabbing in south Tulsa that sent two people to the hospital.
Officers responded around 1:15 a.m. to the Tamarack Place Apartments near 61st and Peoria and found a woman outside with a box cutter. Police were able to get the box cutter away from her and found out she had been in a fight with her live-in boyfriend.
The woman slashed the man's chest and arms with the box cutter, according to police. She also suffered some minor injuries. The two were taken to the hospital, and the woman has now been released and arrested on a complaint of domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say the man will need stitches but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Raymona Ferguson was arrested for domestic assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on more than $25,000 bond.
