Broken Arrow burglary suspects crash after leading police on chase

Police say two burglary suspects were hurt after a pursuit and crash in Broken Arrow.

Officers got a call about a burglary around 9 a.m. near 61st and Lynn Lane and later spotted the suspects in a vehicle. The reporting person said they observed an unknown female exiting the residence and called the police; the suspect vehicle fled the scene and the license plate number was provided to police. The vehicle was later confirmed as stolen from an unrelated incident, according to police.

The male suspect, 34-year-old Dustin Yahola, who was driving, was ejected from the vehicle, according to police. The female suspect, 40-year-old Jennifer Brown, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be freed.

Both suspects were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incidents are still under investigation and criminal charges are pending at this time, according to police.
