'Chalk it Up!' Art Festival returns to Rose District this weekend
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) —
Main Street in Broken Arrow is going to be a lot more colorful this weekend.
The fifth annual "Chalk It Up!" An Art Festival begins Friday in Broken Arrow. Dozens of artists will compete in the event in the middle of the Rose District.
Each artist will get 10 feet by 10 feet of space between Dallas and Broadway on Main Street. They will start their chalk pieces Friday night, and the designs must be complete by Saturday.
The festival kicks off Friday at 7 p.m. and runs until midnight. The event continues from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The winners will be announced by 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The event will also include vendors, free samples, live music, and more.
