City of Pryor votes to increase sales tax
PRYOR, Okla. (KTUL) —
The City of Pryor voted Tuesday night to increase sales tax by 0.25 cents.
The mayor said if they town voted to not increase sales tax, there would be a possibility the employees of the fire department and other city positions be laid off.
The added funds from the increase will raise money for city services, including police, fire, city hall, library and courts.
