City of Tulsa: All traffic lights affected by tornado are back in service
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
The City of Tulsa says all of the traffic lights that were affected by Sunday's tornado in midtown are now back in service.
The EF-2 tornado, which damaged nearly 150 businesses from 41st to 51st between Yale and Memorial, caused headaches in the area over the last week, but the city has made strides toward normalcy. Many businesses in the disaster area have reopened, but many must decide if they should even rebuild.
Governor Mary Fallin toured the disaster area this week and later declared a state of emergency for Tulsa and three other counties hit by tornadoes and severe storms.
