Claremore woman dead after crash on Highway 20
CLAREMORE, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman is dead after a crash near Claremore Wednesday morning.
Lou Anna Nichols, 82, was driving southbound on 4120 Road when she failed to yield at a stop sign, according to OHP. A woman driving westbound on S.H. 20 struck Nichols' vehicle on the driver's side.
Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the second vehicle and a 13-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital but later released.
OHP says it's not clear what condition Nichols was in at the time of the crash.
