Coweta man killed in late night crash in Wagoner County
COWETA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 37-year-old man is dead after crashing his vehicle near Coweta.
Troopers say Jason Russell was driving westbound on State Highway 51 around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and rolled. They also say the vehicle caught fire.
Coweta EMS transported Russell to St. John's hospital in Broken Arrow, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
