A family is holding out hope that they'll find their missing loved one.

Christopher Teel, 32, has been missing now an entire year from Jay, Okla. His mother, Tracy Teel Bishop, wants answers to help bring her family closure. Teel went missing Jan. 2 of 2017, and left no clues, resulting in his location, so far.

The family has been using Facebook to search for Teel, who has a ten-year-old daughter, they say he would not have left, willingly.

The Jay Police Department has been working and following up on leads, which lately have pointed to the demise of Teel.

"They've searched caves, wells. One person said he was thrown in Lake Eucha. You can’t drag Lake Eucha, that's great big. So, our family is hoping for closure that is all," said Teel Bishop.

Christopher Teel had been home for just two weeks after serving a prison term when he disappeared.

"I wish we could give them peace but until we get better information, this case will remain very difficult," said Chief Mike Shambaugh.

If you know anything about his whereabouts, please can the Jay Police Department at 918-253-4277.
