Firefighters rescue woman who fell into Arkansas River
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Tulsa firefighters rescued a woman who fell into the Arkansas River overnight.
Firefighters found the woman stuck under the Southwest Boulevard bridge. Luckily, the water wasn't that deep where they found her and the conditions of the river weren't too bad, according to firefighters.
The woman likely jumped or fell off a bridge upstream before ending up in the location where she was rescued, firefighters say. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but firefighters say they don't think she has any serious injuries.
