Man arrested after firing several shots into the air
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A man is in custody after he fired several shots into the air in north Tulsa.
Tulsa police were called to a residence near North Garrison Avenue and East 32nd Street North at 2 a.m. after shots were reportedly fired in the area. After talking to the victim and a witness, police determined 23-year-old Tommy Peters was the one who fired the gunshot.
Peters was quickly found at a convenience store a couple blocks away.
Officers recovered a loaded gun, and Peters was taken into custody for possession of a firearm and other charges.
