A man was arrested Saturday morning after the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said he led troopers on a chase in Rogers County.

Troopers said the chase started on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Catoosa after Christopher Sell's failed to pull over during a traffic stop around midnight.

They say Sell's failed to signal near the Hard Rock Casino. They also said that shots were fired at Sell's during the chase after he reportedly accelerated his vehicle toward troopers near Mile Marker 248, but he was not hit.

Troopers said the chase ended when Sell's lost control of his vehicle while he was exiting the Will Rogers Turnpike near Verdigris.

He also tried to run from the scene but troopers were able to catch him.

Sell's was arrested on multiple complaints, including possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and driving under the influence.

He was treated for minor injuries and has been booked into the Rogers County Jail.

OHP says no troopers were injured during the incident.
