National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado near Oologah
ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) -- The National Weather Service says a second EF-1 tornado is confirmed after Thursday's storms.
A damage survey team confirmed Friday that the twister touched down four miles southeast of Oologah in Rogers County. Damage assessment with the storm is ongoing.
A tornado with a preliminary EF-1 rating was confirmed Thursday in Owasso with winds 90 to 100 mph. Several dozen homes were damaged in a neighborhood near 106th Street North and 168th East Avenue but no one was injured.
