Sheriff's office: Paint cans cause secondary blasts during fire at Keys auto body shop
KEYS, Okla. (KTUL) -- Firefighters were called to an auto body shop in Keys Friday morning after a fire that produced the small town's second explosion in a week.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, the fire had already started when several paint cans in the shop caused a few secondary explosions. The sheriff's office says there is nothing suspicious about the incident and no one was hurt.
The fires have since been extinguished.
Last week, a woman died and a man was seriously injured when a house exploded in town. The cause of that explosion is still under investigation.
