OHP: Man dies in train vs. road grader crash in Alfalfa County
GOLTRY, Okla. (KOKH) —
A man is dead after being hit by a train in Alfalfa County.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol says around 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, 74-year-old Jimmy Wilson was driving a 2018 John Deere Road Grader on County Rd. 720 in Goltry. Reports say Wilson cross the train tracks when he was hit by a BNSF train.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no injuries on the train.
OHP officials say Wilson failed to yield to the train, causing the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
