Oklahoma Senate votes on teacher pay raise
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Oklahoma Senate votes to approve a revenue package that will fund teacher pay raise.
After a 35-11 vote, the Oklahoma Senate approved the first steps of Senate Bill 133 that would fund a 12.7 percent teacher pay raise.
Even though the Senate advanced SB 133, which provides for a 12.7 percent teacher pay raise, House Bill 1033 which is a revenue bill to fund the increase will have to pass also.
