OSBI investigates a deadly officer involved shooting in Ottawa Co.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have been called out to investigate a deadly officer-involved shooting in Fairland.

Early Saturday, a member of the Ottawa County sheriff's office shot and killed 42-year-old Travis Baker after Baker pointed a handgun at an officer.

According to OSBI's facebook, Baker was suspected of stealing several cars and breaking into homes in Ottawa County.

Baker led police officers on a car chase before abandoning his car and attempting to run on foot.

Several officers chased Baker into a wooded area where he was later shot.

Baker was pronounced dead at the scene.
