OSBI releases name of Westville police officer found dead in home
WESTVILLE, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified a Westville police officer whose death is being considered suspicious.
Brandon Lee Pelfrey, 24, did not show up for his shift Tuesday evening, according to the OSBI. Concerned officers went to check on him at his home and found him dead in his bedroom.
Investigators found no trauma to Pelfrey's body, but they are considering the death suspicious because of his age and occupation. A medical examiner will determine how Pelfrey died.
