Pawhuska Public Schools closed again Wednesday due to 'continuing water issues'
PAWHUSKA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Pawhuska students will now get a second day off as the city continues tackling a water issue.
The water problems started over the weekend with a six-inch water main break, but another break occurred after crews started working on the first one. The city said the breaks were fixed Tuesday, but problems have now persisted into Wednesday.
The extreme cold likely caused the breaks, and it has made fixing them difficult.
