Police: Burglary suspect caught by officers defecating in trash can inside home
Authorities say they found a man defecating in the trash can inside a home while investigating a burglary in Oklahoma City.
Around 7 a.m. Dec. 5 Oklahoma City Police Department officers were called to a property in the 5900 block of Holzman Avenue after a woman called 911 to report a man on her back porch looking in her home.
The woman told responding officers that the man asked her if she had a bathroom, to which she replied "no" and went to grab a firearm. The victim believed that the man had gone into her guest house.
Officers entered the guest house and found Nicholas Mark Johnson, 34, with his pants down, defecating in a trash can. Police allowed Johnson to clean up and asked his name, to which Johnson reportedly replied with a fake name.
Police reported that Johnson was uncooperative. While searching the property, authorities discovered that Johnson had allegedly began loading the victim's property in a vehicle, which was parked behind a building.
Johnson was then booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of second degree burglary after previous felony conviction.
