Police: East Tulsa 'gun battle' involved 3 people (KTUL)

Just after 2 p.m. Monday, Tulsa Police responded to multiple calls claiming shots were fired near East 21st Street and Interstate 44.

Police say, when they arrived, evidence of a "gun battle" between at least three people and shell casings belonging to three different kinds of handguns were recovered from the scene.

According to police, officers found three residences and one apartment building struck by bullets.

A small gold four-door vehicle occupied by at least four people was seen with all people pointing guns out of the window, police say.

At this time, no one has turned up at a hospital with unknown gunshot wounds.
