Police investigate body found behind Tulsa County Jail
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police are investigating a body found behind the Tulsa County Jail Saturday evening.
Around 5 p.m. a homeless man who usually stays in the area alerted told police he saw a body under the overpass off the Katy Trail. The man said he did not recognize the victim.
Officials say there was blood on the body and trauma to the victim's head, but they're still investigating what happened.
Police say the victim is a white man about 40-50 years old believed to be homeless. Officers think he died from an accidental fall, but are awaiting the Medical Examiner's results.
