Police looking for man who robbed midtown Dollar Tree

Officers responded to an armed robbery call around 9:50 p.m. at the store near 21st and Sheridan. Police say store employees had closed the store and were leaving when they were approached by a man armed with a gun. (KTUL)

Police say a man got away after robbing a midtown Dollar Tree Thursday.

Officers responded to an armed robbery call around 9:50 p.m. at the store near 21st and Sheridan. Police say store employees had closed the store and were leaving when they were approached by a man armed with a gun.

The man was able to get the store's bank deposit money and stole money from the employees, according to police. He ran away northbound toward 21st Street.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is a white male in his early to mid-20s. He's about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slender built and was clean shaven, according to police. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket and black sweatpants.
