Police: 2 robbed while playing basketball at elementary school

Police say two people were robbed at gunpoint overnight at Cooper Elementary School in east Tulsa.

The robbery happened around 11 p.m. while the two victims were playing on the outdoor basketball courts. Police say an Asian or Hispanic male armed with a handgun and a black male approached the two victims and told them to lie on the ground.

The suspects took the victims' wallets and car keys and drove off in one of the victim's cars, according to police.

The car is a red Pontiac Grand Am with a Cherokee tag and a gray fender.
