Police make arrest in deadly March gang shooting
TULSA, OKla. (KTUL) -- Almost nine months after a man was shot and killed parking his car in north Tulsa, police have made an arrest.
Norman Johnson was arrested Tuesday for first-degree murder and a host of other crimes.
Police say Johnson is at least one of the shooters who killed Durrell Collins March 20 near Pine and Peoria. Evidence on the scene indicated more than one shooter was involved.
Police the shooting was the result of gang violence, and on Tuesday the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office issued a warrant for Johnson's arrest.
Johnson, who also goes by the name of Norman Gaines, was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for murder, shooting with intent to kill, firearm and drug possession and gang-related offenses.
