Police: Man robbed, pistol-whipped while leaving midtown home
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police are looking for two people who violently robbed a man in midtown.
Officers responded to the reported armed robbery around 4:40 a.m. near 43rd and Peoria. Police say the victim was leaving a friend's house on Cincinnati when a man and woman came up to him and pointed a gun at him. The two suspects demanded the victim's wallet and cell phone before pistol-whipping him, according to police.
The suspects took off in an unknown vehicle. The male suspect is between 20 and 25 years old and around 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing dark clothing and was armed with a gun. The female suspect is in her 20s and about 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She was wearing a brown jumpsuit, police say.
It's not clear how serious the victim's injuries are.
