Police: No serious injuries after van drives into south Tulsa car dealership

Police say no one was seriously hurt after a minivan plowed through a building at a car dealership in south Tulsa.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. at the South Pointe Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership near 93rd and Memorial. Police say a man in a minivan drove through a window in the parts and service department, taking out glass and a bathroom wall in the process.

Police say the driver uses a wheelchair, and something that holds his chair in place malfunctioned, causing him to hit the accelerator.

No one was seriously hurt in the crash. Two patrons were in the waiting room and hit by debris, but they checked out OK.
