Police: Woman sexually assaulted, stabbed in downtown Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Tulsa police say they're looking for a man who sexually assaulted and stabbed a woman overnight in downtown.
Officers responded around 1:45 a.m. to the call near the MTTA terminal near 4th and Denver. Police say a man approached a woman and coaxed her into a secluded area before sexually assaulting and stabbing her.
The victim ran from the attacker and collapsed near the MTTA terminal, according to police. A passerby noticed the victim and called 911. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect is a black male. He was tall and slim, had a short afro and was wearing black pants, a dark shirt and a dark blue t-shirt.
