Rogers State student dies after being found unresponsive in residence hall
CLAREMORE, Okla. (KTUL) —
Rogers State University is mourning the loss of one of its students.
Rugina Irving, 28, has died after being found unresponsive in the hallway of an on-campus residence hall Monday morning, according to the university. There were reportedly no signs of trauma when Irving was found.
Irving had been pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree. She had been at the university since 2016.
The university says administrators met with Irving's family members Monday at the hospital.
A medical examiner will determine Irving's official cause of death.
