TFD investigating business fire near 11th and Sheridan
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Tulsa Fire Department is working a reported building fire in midtown.
Crews responded around 10:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building near 11th and Sheridan. A Fire Department spokesman says a manager and customer were in the back of the business when they smelled smoke. They then went to the front and saw the fire.
It took firefighters about 15 minutes to get the fire out. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters say it's possible a space heater could have played a role in starting the fire.
It's not clear if the business, which is a small auto sales shop, is considered a total loss.
