Toddler drowns in BA neighborhood pool
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) —
Tulsa Fire Department is responding to a call of a three-year-old girl drowning in a pool.
Firefighters confirm the caller said the toddler drowned in a neighborhood pool near East 41st Street and South 177th East Avenue at the Sunset Hills housing editions.
Law enforcement says the child was at a birthday party and they were in the clean up stages when she fell into the pool.
There were about 10-12 children at the party and 20-30 people total.
The toddler was pulled from the water by family members, who performed CPR until Broken Arrow and Tulsa Fire Departments arrived.
EMSA took the little girl to Saint Francis Hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said they are unsure if she was wearing a flotation device.
