Friday is last day to take Bixby superintendent survey
BIXBY, Okla. (KTUL) —
Tomorrow is the last day to weigh in on the search for a new superintendent in Bixby.
The school district is asking members of the community to let board members know what traits you want to see in the district's new superintendent. The Oklahoma State School Boards Association is helping with the process, and a survey has been put out for you to let your voice be heard.
The school board is looking to fill the vacancy left by Kyle Hicks, who resigned amid a sexual assault investigation into five Bixby High School football players. The assault allegedly occurred during a gathering at Hicks's home, according to investigators.
The school board hopes to choose a new superintendent by March or April.
