Tulsa Police identify shooting suspect in teen's murder
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Tulsa Police Department has identified the shooting suspect they believe shot and killed a teenager Thursday morning near Harvard and Apache.
Officers say the 15-year-old boy had multiple gunshot wounds. They say he died inside the apartment.
Police identify the shooter as 18-year-old Marcus Herron.
Several young people occupied the apartment, according to TPD.
Officers are still investigating the motive.
Officials believe there was an argument inside the apartment, which led to the shooting. They think Herron changed clothes before leaving the apartment on foot.
Police say Herron may have a 9MM handgun on him, so he is considered dangerous. He is described as a black man, approximately 140 pounds, about 5-feet, 11-inches tall.
Anyone with information on Herron's whereabouts is asked to please call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677, the Homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477 or email email@example.com.
