Tulsa police identify man found dead behind Tulsa County Jail
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Tulsa Police Department has released the name of the man whose body was found behind the Tulsa County Jail on Friday.
The man killed on the Katy Trail has been identified as 40-year-old Barry Hotzler. Police say Hotzler had been in a fight around 11 p.m. Thursday. He had been beaten and stabbed before his body was found, according to police.
Police arrested Derrick Mathes, 40, Saturday on a first-degree murder complaint for his alleged involvement in the murder.
