Tulsa police release DUI sobriety checkpoint preliminary results

TULSA (KTUL) - Tulsa police have released the preliminary numbers from the ENDUI sobriety checkpoint conducted Saturday night at 1500 N. Peoria Ave.

Nine DUI arrests were made as well as one felony drug arrest. Eighteen misdemeanor warrants were served and 180 citations were issued.

Members of the Tulsa Police Department, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma ABLE Commission participated in the enforcement, checking 161 vehicles.

The checkpoint was part of the statewide campaign to ENDUI and was paid as part of a grant from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.

All numbers are preliminary.
