Warehouse Market to close west Tulsa, Broken Arrow locations

Warehouse Market (KTUL)

Warehouse Market has announced that two of its locations in Green Country are closing.

The company will be closing its stores in west Tulsa and Broken Arrow. The west Tulsa location, near 49th West Avenue and the Sand Springs Expressway, is closing in part because it lost sales after the 23rd Street bridge over I-244 closed for repairs, the company told Tulsa's Channel 8.

The Broken Arrow store that is closing is at 1750 Aspen Avenue.

Liquidation at the stores will begin Monday. Items will be at least 25 percent off.

Employees at the closing stores will be able to transfer to other locations.

The company also announced that the store in Sapulpa is being converted into a Cox Cashsaver.

Editor's note: On Sunday night, we incorrectly reported during the TV broadcast of Tulsa's Channel 8 news that the Warehouse Market at 51st and Union was closing. We regret the error.
