Warren Theatres has been sold to one of the largest theater circuits in the United States.

Regal Entertainment Group announced May 19 that they had purchased all seven locations of Warren Theatres in Moore, Broken Arrow and several in Wichita. The Moore location was the 17th highest grossing theater in the U.S. in 2016.

Regal Entertainment CEO Amy Miles said they are honored to add Warren to their portfolio.

“Warren Theatres have become the market leader in both Wichita and Oklahoma City by providing superior customer service and a myriad of upscale amenities, including reclining seats, large format screens and a wide array of food and beverage options," Miles said.

Warren President Bill Warren said he has long been impressed with Regal.

“I know our movie-going guests and our 1,400 cast members will be in great hands with Regal," Warren said.

A City of Midwest City spokesperson tells FOX 25 that the deal will not impact construction on the planned theater in Midwest City. No word on whether it will impact construction planned in northeast Oklahoma City.
