Water pours out of old building in downtown Tulsa, causes icy mess in parking lot, streets

Water has been pouring out of the old Spaghetti Warehouse building for hours overnight. The City of Tulsa says it's likely that a pipe burst due to the cold, but they haven't been able to get it shut off to assess the problem. (KTUL)

A major water issue in an old downtown building caused a major headache for workers and drivers Wednesday morning.

Water poured out of the old Spaghetti Warehouse building near Detroit and East Matthew B. Brady Street for hours overnight. The City of Tulsa says a fire line inside the building ruptured. Firefighters were able to get the water shut off after 7 a.m. this morning.

Water could be seen coming out from all over the building -- down stairwells, through bricks and under doorways.

The City of Tulsa says nearby businesses could be affected as crews work to fix the issues with the fire line.
