Police: Woman arrested for threatening people, breaking windows in downtown Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A woman is in jail after police say she vandalized property in downtown Tulsa.
Officers responded to a vandalism report just after 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police say Shelly Beekman was threatening people, throwing trash cans and breaking windows on South Main Street between 3rd Street and 5th Street. Beekman was taken into custody at 6th and Boston.
Police say the witness's quick 911 call prevented the woman from causing further damage.
Beekman was booked on a malicious mischief complaint.
