OSU's Brendan Vaughn dismissed from football team following arrest in Stillwater
Oklahoma State freshman linebacker Brendan Vaughn was arrested Saturday in Stillwater after police found a large amount of cash and marijuana in his dorm room.
Vaughn appeared in court on Tuesday, pleading not guilty to one count of felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (within 2,000 feet of a school) and one misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The three-star prospect out of Forney, TX, who was redshirting this season, has been dismissed from the OSU football team.
“He’s been off our team since Sunday,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said following Tuesday’s practice. “Anytime you violate team rules, immediately you’re off our team.”
