Report: Mike Gundy talking with Tennessee about coaching vacancy
Reports from around the country have current Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy meeting with Tennessee Volunteers officials about their head coach opening.
That meeting is supposedly taking place in Dallas.
Adding fuel to the fire is this, first Tweeted out by Dan Harralson of SaturdayDownSouth.com:
Gundy turned down the Tennessee job back in 2012, but this time around the Volunteers are reportedly willing to double Gundy's current salary from $4.3 million to $8.4 million per season. That would make the 50-year-old the third-highest paid head coach in College Football.
