The Oklahoma City Thunder have been chosen to play during the NBA Mexico City Games 2017.

The regular season match-up will pit the Thunder against the Brooklyn Nets Dec. 7. This is the second season in a row that the NBA has played regular season games in Mexico City. It also marks the 25th anniversary of the first NBA game in Mexico.

“We’re excited to be asked to participate in the NBA Mexico City Games 2017 as the NBA expands its global reach." Thunder General Manager Sam Presti said. "As we enter only our 10th season of Thunder Basketball in Oklahoma City, we feel incredibly fortunate that our team and fan base will get to experience our first regular-season game abroad.”

The Nets will be the home team in the match-up and also play the Miami Heat Dec. 9 in Mexico City. The games will be aired live on ESPN and Televisa.
