College Football: Week 2 Associated Press & Amway Coaches Polls released

The college football rankings received a shake-up this afternoon, as the Week 2 AP and Amway Coaches Polls were released.

The Oklahoma Sooners jumped from No. 7 to No. 5 in the Associated Press Poll following their impressive win at home over UTEP to open the season. They'll face No. 2 Ohio State this Saturday in Columbus, OH. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM on Tulsa's Channel 8.

Oklahoma State also remained in the upper echelon of the AP Poll, coming in at No. 11. The Cowboys will face their first road test of the season this week when they head to Mobile, Alabama for a showdown with South Alabama.

The other Big 12 Schools to crack the AP's Top 25 were Kansas State, was is ranked No. 19, and TCU, who is ranked 23rd.

In the Amway Coaches Poll, the Sooners jumped from No. 8 to No. 6, while the Cowboys moved up one spot to No. 10.
