I've been working at KTUL since 2001. I reported on the news for almost two years and moved into the sports department to cover the Big 12 and a host of other great sporting events in the region.
Being a family man, the travel and weekends spent away from family were too much. I moved back into news and have been working on Good Morning Oklahoma for about 11 years.
We've won an AP Award for Best Morning Show and three times have won an award from the Tulsa Press Club.
It's a difficult transition, getting up at 2 in the morning, but my 5 o'clock is about 11 a.m. on most days. Plus, the days seem shorter thanks to a very professional, fun group of co-workers.
My passions are my family. I have five girls and five grandkids and a wonderful wife. When I'm off, I'm working in the yard, fishing or cooking BBQ. I love baseball, football and horseshoes and hanging out with family and friends!
