Thanks for taking a minute to check out my bio. I’m a girl who grew up in Tulsa, graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma. I spent time working in Oklahoma City, Fort Smith, Fayetteville and now I am back in T-Town.
I have a big family that extends through both the Sooner State and Arkansas, which is why you’ll often hear me cheering "Boomer Sooie," and yes I respect and love my OSU friends too.
If you’re wondering about my experience in news, well I did my first story at 13. I am an Emmy Award-winning reporter and have covered everything from crime and politics to the 2014 winter games in Sochi, Russia. No matter how trite it may sound I still believe everyone and everything has a story.
Oh, I like food and luckily I also like sports and working out, which makes for a pretty good combo. I’ve done a couple of open water swims, lots of 5Ks, the Tulsa Run, the Chicago Marathon… I like to say I’m not a runner but I’m not a quitter.
I love spending time with my husband and kids, including our four-legged child Boomer.
If you have a story idea, message me on social media or shoot me an email.
