The front that ushered in the cooler weather earlier in the week continues to impact our area. Afternoon highs since Tuesday have remained below 80 degrees. The previous record low high temperature for July 17 was 82 set in 1989, but Thursday's high was 68. We are forecasting a high of 78 on Friday, which will be the 4th consecutive day with highs below 80--a record for the month of July. This weekend temperatures gradually begin warming again but will remain below normal until Monday. The normal high for this time of year is 93.?
