Quiet, dry weather ahead
We remain in a drought across northeast Oklahoma but January has actually been unusually wet.
For the month we have received nearly 3 and a half inches of rain. Typically January is one of our driest months with an average of 1.66 inches.
Looking at the long range models we may not see any rain or snow for nearly 10 days.
February is also typically a dry month with an average of 1.93 inches of precipitation. We also average close to 2 inches of snow.
