Snow possible along with dangerous wind chills
The much anticipated cold front has cleared the area, but the true Arctic air will continue to ooze into the region today. As the main blast of Artic air arrives, there will be a band of snow showers that will move through. The snow will be rather short lived, therefore, amounts look to remain rather light. Most areas will see a dusting to an inch of snow. A few spots will only see flurries.
Skies will clear tonight and that will allow temperatures to drop down into the single digits with wind chills ranging from -5 to -15 degrees below zero.
Temperatures will moderate this week, but another cold front will arrive around the Christmas holiday.
