The drought across the state of Oklahoma is improving. However, we still have a ways to go to get rid of the drought across the state.
For instance, Tulsa is still 7" below normal on rainfall for year. Yes, we have received some good rainfall the past couple of weeks, but that is normal for June.
Matter of fact, we are only a little over a half inch above normal for the month of June.
81% of the state is dealing with drought conditions. We will continue to see things improve if we keep getting a constant flow of rain into the region.
But, July and August are typically the driest months of the year.
