A pattern change is on the way for Oklahoma. The occasional showers and thunderstorms could possibly be replaced by hot and humid conditions next week.
After the rain chances diminish late this week, it appears that high pressure will build into the region.
Highs will warm into the lower 90s by the weekend and potentially into the mid to upper 90s by next week.
It seems rather fitting though. July 1st is next Tuesday and July/August are the hottest months of the year. Rain chances also diminish next week, but the high humidity looks to remain, which means it's going to feel rather muggy through the extended.
