A stalled front and a ridge of high pressure will continue to push more disturbances our way this weekend. That means a chance of showers and storms will be possible through the weekend. We even keep a chance of rain around early Monday. But the system that's been hanging out over our area for most of the week will finally get nudged out by a stronger front on Tuesday. The severe storm threat will be low, but can't completely rule it out-gusty winds, small hail and heavy rain are possible. The rain won't provide much relief from the heat and humidity, it will be very muggy each afternoon with heat index values ranging from 100 to 105. There are some changes on the way next week's front will dry us out for a couple of days and keep our temperatures below normal for most of next week. Instead of highs in the 90s, temperatures will be in the 80s.
